| Photography is something that I have enjoyed doing since I discovered the darkroom my freshman year of high school. The more I fostered this hobby, the more I started to realize that a picture can have an incredible impact upon a person and a situation. As my interest in photography grew, so did my interest in journalism and the relationship between the two. Within the media, photojournalism is an incredible medium that truly allows one to take a look into another place. I can only hope that my photography will be able to emit the uniqueness and specialness of cultures that many people will not be able to see with their own eyes.
